Hokkaido Rail and Drive

Great tour, Mike and Ray did an outstanding job overcoming obstacles such as a typhoon and an earthquake which knocked out power on the entire island. He managed to get us tickets (thru much waiting in line(appx 3 hrs)) on the FIRST TRAIN off the Island. This saved us a 4 hr ferry ride at 6pm arriving in Honchu at 10 pm. By his actions we were in our hotel in Tokyo at that time. If we were still in the Corps I would put him in for a medal for his devotion to duty on our trip. Kudos for him and Ray as you civilians would say. Semper Fi.
